Database sizes:

Below is a screenshot from a live database with PHI stripped out that was first used on 04/26/1996.  Notice the file sizes are very small for a database that contains many patients and encounters.  You will notice that the largest file is 53 megabytes.  Please note that depending on what areas you are using and not using will have an effect on database size.  Sometimes files can reach up to 200 megabytes.  An average database such as the one used in this example has a total database size of 400 megabytes.  Not bad for 10 years of patient data!!
